Michael, I have found information which leads me to beleive my Stone family may have started in Tn and Ga and stopped in Ms before going on to Ar. My g- grandfather was James R. Stone, Jr. I don't know who his brothers and sisters were but he had an uncle named James and one named William who lived next door to him in Ar. He married Emma Clementine Jones. According to census records, he was born in Ms and she in Ar. His father was born in Tn. Among his children were, William Sigmond, Burl, Arlie, Deak, Nova, Pearl, Ida Pearlee. My grandmother had cousins named Sammy, Jimmy, Charlie that I know of. There were 3 Jim Stones in the area who were all related. Sleepy Jim, Bogle Jim and another. Jan Gilliam Reynolds
