I am new to the Stone list and submit my info in hopes that someone will be able to help. I am looking for info on William Stone whose wife was Ann. William left a will in Jackson/McMinn county,TN in 1819. William names his wife Ann, his children: Miss Stone deceased, married a man named Ball, they had a daughter named Lucy. Uriah Stone, named executor of the estate, had a son named Asbury. 3. Jane Stone. Married 1st. Thomas Spearman, had the following children: 1. Wesley Spearman marreid Elizabeth Miller. 2. Ann Wisdom Spearman married William Shelton. 3. Thomas William Spearman married Nancy Shelton. (my ancestors). 4. Ann Stone married a Smith. 5. Elijah Stone. William also names an Archibald Stone of Barren County,KY to be his executor but he refused to serve. Could this be a brother? There was a Uriah Stone who was a "Longhunter" in KY, could this have been his father or was it the son? Any help would be much appreciated. Jeff Williams
