If it weren't for the efforts of a wonderful chap named David Jacobs, we'd have almost nothing to this day! Help!!!) John STONE, a mariner, had a son Thomas STONE in Wyke, Dorset on May 31, 1818. Thomas married Esther BRINE(b. 1828) on Dec. 17, 1848 in Alverstoke, Hampshire. They moved to Southampton and had: Thomas John, Eliza, Esther Mary, William James, Archibald, Frederick & Henrietta... Frederick STONE(b. Aug. 23, 1862) married Ellen FRY(b. 1868) on March 5, 1890. They had: Maude, Gladys Kate, Lydia, Alfred Walter, Fred Jr., William & Ivy Edith. Maude STONE married Frank AUSTIN abt. 1910, Gladys Kate STONE married Walter John YOUNG in 1913, Lydia STONE married Harry LANHAM in 1918, and Alfred Walter STONE emigrated to Ontario Canada, where he married Angelina Mary LEBEAU on April 11, 1925. Alfred and Angelina were our grandparents... We would appreciate ANY info on this family, and on any off-shoots, especially living relatives... Thanks!
