    1. [STONE-L] Re: STONE-D Digest V98 #156
    2. I think it was Ron in California who requested a look-up on Wiley and Candance Stone in "Stone Connections". They were not listed in the index, but I may have found them in an article about 1880 census of Boone Co, Ar. The article states: Wiley STone(77) with wife Candus (73), a child Henry and another member of the household, Charlotte(71) who was probably a sister of Candus Rogers. This family had relatives born in SC, Ga, NC and Al. Also gives Thoman(26) with wife Sophia (30) and children John W. Winnie along with another household member James H. Lane probably a brother of Sophia. These household members were born in either Tn or Ar with grandparents or parents bornin SC, Ga and Tn. Jan Gilliam Reynolds

    3. Hi! I'm trying to find information on a Fannie Stone. According to my Grandmother, Fannie was never married and she had twin sons (Levi Stone and ?). The twin (?) died as a very young baby. Fannie supposedly was deaf and dumb. She was close to 100 years old when she died -- maybe around 1935-40. Fannie worked on the Tapp Farms in Webster County, Kentucky. They were perhaps living around the Tilden area. I found a marriage license for Fannie's son, Levi: The marriage license states: 3-10-1919, Levi Stone (Jr.), age 42, farmer, principal Levi Stone Sr., and Fannie Stone as surety Bertha Wilson, age 23 George and Mary Wilson, permission by A.B. Stone, Minister General Baptist Church wit: George Stone, S. Stone My Grandmother would desperately like to know more info regarding her Grandmother Fannie Stone. Any help appreciated! Jane is listed as the daughter of Benjamin Stone who lived near where William Hopkins lived. There is also a marriage for Robert Hopkins and Elizabeth Stone for 27 Dec 1798. Is this Elizabeth Stone the sister of Jane Stone. I do not know of a brother of William Hopkins named Robert Hopkins. Is he a relative to William, like a cousin or from what Hopkins line? Robert and Elizabeth had at least two sons - William and Robert. RUSS HARDEN [email protected]
