Am looking for information on John Martin Stone, who married Anna Hill. They lived in either Comanche or Leon Co., Tx during the 1870's. My gggrandmother was a Stone. Her name was Mary Lou Stone. She was married to a Lindsey Edward Hudlow. She died in Crowell Texas in December l9l8 or l9l9 with the flu epidemic. He and his brother, Allen Chandler Stone of Huntsville, AL are the children of Allen Edward Stone, Jr. and Sara Elizabeth Roberts Stone of Doerun, GA. A.E. Looking for Herman Stone b.1813 may have been born in Wales. His 1st wife was Elizabeth Wright married in 1833. There children where Orin b.1835 and William b.1838. Elizabeth died in 1838 one month after the birth of William. Herman remarried in 1840 to Catherine Besley she b.1808 d.1881 in Piatt Co. Illinois. There chldren where 1.Curtis b.1841 d.1877 in Illinois possible place Ivesdale Champaign Co, Curtis married a women by the name of Winnie Ann (unk last name) .
