My grandfather was Herman Stoltz born in Altoona on October 14, 1893. Siblings were Rose, Elion and Reubert. His father was Valentine Stoltz born in 1859. Valentine's father was Peter and came from Hamburg Germany. I don't know if there is a connection, but maybe it will help.
