Born either in France or Germany but most likey Alsase- Lorraine. He spoke french and his wife's name was Amelia who was born in USA. Children were, John, Louis, Joseph, Kate, Julia, Chistina and Elizabeth. John Married Mary Toye from PA and Elizabeh married Charles Toye, Mary's younger brother. Charles and Elizabeth are my grand parets and lived in Cranford New Jersey along with John, commonly called Jack, and Mary, commonly known as Mame, who became direct neighbors as they built two idential houses on Brookside Place in Cranford. Julia never married and lied on the family homestead on St. Georges Road in Warren. Louis married and had two children, twins, Joe and Mary. He lived on Family land until his death along with his son, daughter-in-law and grandson Louis. Joseph married and had no children and Cristina mrried to a man with the last name of Caroll and had two children, Mark and Willhemena.
