Stoltz's action doe not come from any disagreement with the local authorities or any dissatisfaction with the terms of his contract.The simple reason for his exit lies in the fact that his job is done. The link of the famous straight line highway from San Bernardino to Los Angeles is completed the last rolling of its fine macadam surface taking place last week. Although it is the claim that many portions of the highway are complete between her and San Bernardino and it has been stated that one can now travel from here to Upland over the new route Claremonters have experienced some difficulty in finding the course of the road between her and the neighboring city.There is no doubt of the local link, however. A few autos were seen buzzing merrily over its surface last weekend. The road is 30 feet wide and 6 inches think, spread with asphalt binder.
