James Stogsdill married to Mary Brown in Phelps Co. MO. is my G-Grandfather. I think he was born in IL, but I am still trying to find him. His brother was William and I have their land grants in MO. James died Oct 1875. His children included William Delphus, Horace, Sarah Ann, (my grandmother), and Mary, who died before she was 6 months old. After James died Mary Brown Stogsdill married Charles Van Kirk. This is all I know at this time. Vicki
