Hi Pat, long time. Well I spent 5 days early in the summer in Ohio visiting varius libraries, even went over to Ft Wayne. Am still having no luck connecting Ben Stiles to his past. Cousin Don Moses and I toured all of the cemeteries in Ohio where Stiles and Elliotts are buried, starting with Sam Elliott in Licking Co. Actually didn't add very much to the data base. Fact is, Somehow my data base does not contain you and lineage. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, August 16, 2004 5:26 AM Subject: Re: Benjamin Stiles/Jemima Elliott > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Classification: Query > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/jdJBAEB/577.1 > > Message Board Post: > > Hi Owen, > > Been sometime since I have heard from you! my computer has been booted three times, and lost a lot of my data..Have you had any luck on your research?? > > Do you still have your stiles website?? if so would love to be invited!! > as always pat Napier Harlan county, Kentucky > > > ==== STILES Mailing List ==== > This STILES list is currently available for adoption! > Interested in becoming the list manager? Hi All, Just thought I'd mention that I saw the Styles name in the Maryland Calendar of Wills volumes. There are at least 8 of them that I know of. I do believe one of them was a Nathaniel Styles. These are back in the time span of the 1600 or earliest of the 1700's. Ellen
