I was told his name was Benjamin who settled in Sugarloaf township, Luzerne co, Pa. this is now in Columbia co.?? I have Benjamin stiles . married a woman by the maiden name of Bright. children listed as: Hannah born 1785 married Phillip Wintersteen John stiles born abt. 1786, died 1849 married Martha McHenry Mary stiles Joseph stiles born 1805? Jeremiah stiles born 1792 in New Jersey died April 11,1853 in townhill, Hungington Township, Luzerne co, Pa. married Elizabeth Klinetop she was born 1799 daughter of Martin Klinetop and Margaret Varner known children listed are: John Josiah stiles born 1826 died 1883 married mary Ann Hartman in 1851 Jeremiah stiles born 1828 died 1906 married cordelia Kline'My ggrandparents' Margaret born 1832 married John Savage Martin Luther stiles born 1834 Luzerne co, Pa. died June 6, 1871 in Az. married Jan 1, 1871 to Minerva'Minnie' Bible they had three children. Benjamin William Larkin ' Billy' stiles known as Billy the bandit 'Have photos of them also of Billys wife Maria Cameron. Billy was shot and killed in Winnamuca, Az. can locate article on the net..the article stated that Billy shot and killed his father when he was 12 years old, but according to the Arizona miner for wednesday June 1, 1881 documented was that Minnie Bibles son Robert Bible actually shot and Killed His step-father Martin Luther Stiles...Billys father, after Robert Bible was tried for murder, he was put in Florence, Az. but didn't know what happened!! According to the US census report for pinal co. Az. dated June 14, 1880 martin Luther Stiles and manerva stiles had 3 sons Benjamin, Martin and william stiles..Billy stiles and maria cameran had one child an daughter Frances Valentine stiles born Feb 14, 1907 she died when she was three months old. Hannah stiles born 1837 Isaiah stiles born Sep 12,1824, died may 14,1888 married Rebecca Marietta Klinetop christopher christain stiles is listed , but believe he was a grandson??? my greatgrandfather was Dr. Isaac Newton stiles born Nov 19,1855 in Benton,Pa. Columbia co. died June 17, 1942 in Lincoln, Nebraska. son of Jeremiah stiles and Cordelia Kline. His son John Ralph'Jack' stiles born sep 17, 1887 in Lincoln, Nebraska, died August 7, 1957 in Las Vegas, Nev.'My grandfather' my mother was Edith Laura stiles born June 14, 1912, died Jan 12, 1984 in Harlan, Ky. buried in Las vegas, Nev. daughter of John R.'Jack' Stiles and Anna Colton... so Ezra is part of my stiles line, still abit confused lol Hope this helps you!!
