He was born in 1801, maybe in Vt. He was living with his wife, and the following children in Westville, NY during the 1850 census: Rosella, Gilia (Julia?), Hannah, Samuel, Delia. Lindon King Stiles was also their child. Willard died on April 21, 1857. He was buried at the Briggs St. Cemetary, Franklin County, NY. I descended from Rosella Stiles who married George Stockwell.
