I've "rescued" an old photograph which is identified as A. STILES. The photograph was taken at the J. Coble Studio in Newport, Pennsylvania likely sometime in the 1870's. The young man in the photograph appears to be in his 20's at the time it was taken. In addition to his name, someone has also written the initials "E. A." on the back of the photograph. Based on limited research I'm wondering if this might be a photograph of Albert STILES whose along with his family was recorded in the 1870 census of Millerstown Boro, PA. Census records provide the following information: Samuel STILES, age 53, a Physician, born PA Catherine STILES, age 52, Keeps House, born PA Hariet STILES, age 18, born PA Lydia A. STILES, age 18, born PA Clarra STILES, age 13, born PA Albert STILES, age 12, born PA George STILES, age 10, born PA I'm hoping to locate someone from this STILES Family so that this wonderful old photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or if you know someone who might be, please contact me. Thanks, Shelley
