I have been researching my line of KIDDER men (New England) for 12 years. One family which there is not enough information on is: Joseph and Rebecca (CHAMBELAIN) KIDDER of 1700's New Ipswich, NH, and Temple, NH. There youngest son was Joseph KIDDER (Jr.), and he seems to have fought in the Revolutionary War as a very young teen. And, for a long time, we didn't know what happened to him. In fact, one record had him dying in combat in upstate NY. But, the "history of Temple, NH" has him marrying a Mrs. Hulda STILES in 1795. She being of Temple, NH. A quick look at www.familysearch.org and one researcher has her as Miss Hulda STILES from MA, but marrying a different Joseph KIDDER. I was just wondering if anyone knew if there were two Hulda STILES: a single lady coming from MA, or a married lady in Temple, NH. Betty (near Lowell, MA) P.S. The researcher at the LDS site has Joseph and Hulda having children. Another KIDDER researcher and I do not know if the Joseph, Jr., in Temple, NH, had children.
