HI I am looking for the ancestors of a Bartholomew Stiles who lived in Salem County(Mannington, Pilesgrove), New Jersey. This is what I know: Bartholomew STILES was born ~ 1788 in New Jersey. He married Rachel (--?--). He appeared on the census of 1830 at Upper Penns Neck, Salem County, New Jersey; Total in Household = 7. He was on the voters list of Upper Penns Neck Township in 1828, 30,31,32, and 1834. He appeared on the census of 1840 at Mannington, Salem County, New Jersey; Total in Household = 6 (3 Farming). He appeared on the census of Oct 1, 1850 at Mannington, Salem County, New Jersey; Widow; Farmer; also in household: John Stiles - M - 28 - b. NJ - Farmhand; Sarah Stiles - F - 21 -b. NJ; Martha Stiles - F - 19 - b. NJ. He died on Mar 6, 1852 at Pilesgrove, Salem County, New Jersey; Info from Death Return:Married; Age: 64; Occupation: Teamster; Place of Birth: not known; Names of parents not given; COD: Consumption; Record made 1 June 1852. I have not been able to find a marriage record for him and Rachel, who died in 1850 in Mannington, Salem Co. NJ. They had 2 known sons: Francis Asbury(b.~1813) and Samuel R.(b.~1814). Thanks Joe

Searching for William Stiles, born about 1819 - Likely in Wheeling, West Virginia. He married Sarah Jane Lewis in about 1848 or 1849 likely in Cleveland, Ohio. The family later resided in Henry County, Illinois, and then moved to Jefferson County, Iowa. William died there in 1891 and Sarah Jane in 1917. Would love to exchange information on this family.
Searching for the family of Edward Stiles and Elizabeth Maries who were from Jefferson County, Iowa and then moved to Kansas, and finally to California. He was born in about 1854 and died about 1929. Their sons were Ira A. Stiles (born 1882) and Ernest M. Stiles (born 1887). Ira resided in Kansas, while Ernest M. Stiles moved to California. Would love to exchange information on this family.

Oct. 1854 (1900 census) in MA. I have found him in the 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920, and 1930 censuses. In 1880 he resided in Barre, Worcester Co., MA; in the succeeding censuses, he was residing in Templeton. In all the censuses, he says that he was born in MA, his father born in VT, and his mother born in MA. In 1900, he has a Lucy STODDARD living with him whom he calls his step-grandmother. Can anyone help me?
