As descendents of this family, we have relied heavily on the work of Henry Reed Stiles. Your family appears to include Thomas and his descendents. Check it out! My own work begins with Jame Emerson Stiles (b:1845), my great grandfather, and includes Frank Sr, Frank Jr.

    1. Jesse STILES, b. @1843(?) in North Carolina or Georgia
    2. Mr.Carl Haskins
    3. Hello fellow listers, I am searching for info on Jesse STILES, b. @1843(?) in North Carolina or Georgia, his ancestors and siblings. Jesse STILES married Mary Elizabeth PATTERSON, b. 7/13/1845 in Union County (probably in Ivy Log), Georgia. She died in Nocona, Texas on May 8th, 1906. Their children(my second cousins) were: Clabe (married my great aunt, Lillie Conley), Berry, Lonnie, Fairmont, Ollie, Sallie, Vastie, John and Jesse I think Jesse STILES lived for a while in Union or Fannin County Georgia and may have been born and/or married there. The 1850 Union county census has Mary PATTERSON listed with her parents, Amos and Jane, and two siblings. Right next door lived a STILES family - the only one listed in this census record. There is no Jesse listed in the household but there is a James whom would be about the right age. My query is this: Is Jesse (James?) STILES, who married Mary PATTERSON, the son of Benjamin H. and Elizabeth STILES as listed in the 1850 census? If not, who are his parents and family? Any info appreciated, Carl __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail - 250MB free storage. Do more. Manage less. http://info.mail.yahoo.com/mail_250

George Stiles, of Stratford, N.H. married Harriet McClellan and they lived in the North Stratford and Groveton, NH. Wish I could be of help but afraid I can't be.
