Edmond Stiles, (WA2JPM, the golden voice of Morrisonville and the greater Champlain Valley), 68, of Rand Hill Road, became a silent key on Saturday, July 13, 2002, at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. He was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on May 9, 1934, son of Willard Calvin and Marie Ethel (LeBlanc) Stiles. Edmond was a member of St. Alexander's Church in Morrisonville. He was a graduate of Mount Assumption Institute in Plattsburgh, Clinton Community College and Plattsburgh State University. Edmond was a life member of Knights of Columbus Council 6067 in Morrisonville, the past president and past treasurer of Champlain Valley Amateur Radio Club, (CVARC), a member of Digital Operations Emergency Radio Service, (DOERS) and owned and operated J. E. Stiles Accounting Service since the 1960's. In addition, he served the community as radio officer for Clinton County Defense for over 40 years.
