Looking specifically for info on Martha Lynch's family
I would suggest you start by using information that others have gathered over the years, or give us some documentation for the new facts that you are claiming. To my knowledge, no one knows when Robert Stiles was born or even for sure where. His father is certainly not known. He and Elizabeth Frye did not come over as married in the 1650's. Robert Stiles/Stileman married Elizabeth 4 Oct 1660 [Essex Co Vital Records, Andover 2:318] He is thought to have come over about 1639. Elizabeth came over at about age one in 1638 on the Bevis from Southhampton, England. See N.E.H.Reg 8:226, Pedigree of Frye as Robert Stiles as one source. Also see the classic Mary Stiles Guild, Stiles Family in America, 1892, available in libraries and on-line in many libraries from Heritage Quest. Son Samuel was born 21 May 1692 in Boxford, Mass, and married Elizabeth Cary 2 May 1703 {Boxford VR] . His wife Elizabeth was still living at least until 1714 when son Robert was born in Boxford. He may have had a second spouse, claimed in the unreliable Ancestral File as Abigail Pendleton, and had children in RI. Called possible by Guild, in Stiles Family in America. I am not certain on updates about Samuel's second wife by today's research. Perhaps the above will give you a start. Regards, Bob Bob & Dee Carroll. Hi, I descend from John Styles, farmer of Ballyeightragh, Co. Kerry, mid 19th century, scion of the family of the same name from Ballyseedy. John's wife, Jane Talbot, was the daughter of John Talbot and Mary Styles, herself daughter of Maurice Styles. John and his wife may have been first cousins, if John was also grandson of Maurice Styles. I have a fair bit of info on John & Jane's descendants, which I can share. Can anyone help with their parentage, families, etc.? Many Thanks Denis This e-mail is for the stated addressee only and access to it by any other person is unauthorised.
