Fox Hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1910, in Florence, Vt., the daughter of Michael J. and Mary M. (Martin) Gorman. She married Herbert Stewart on Dec. 23, 1950. He died on Feb. 24, 1964. Mrs. Stewart was a registered nurse, and worked for many years at the Park Avenue Hospital in Rochester. She was a member of St. Mary's Church. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary M. Gorman of Rutland, Vt.; a nephew and a niece, Larry Gorman of Rutland, Vt., and Mary Margaret Gorman of Greensboro, N.C. She was predeceased by five brothers and sisters, including Mary Gorman, who resided in Oneonta for several years. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, Dec. 3, 1998, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Mary's Church. Burial will be on Friday, Dec. 4, 1998, in Calvary Cemetery, Rutland, Vt.
