Well I learned something this morning while watching of all place the TV!! Apparently the Irish that first came over to USA were Ulster from Northern Ireland, after 1820 the Southern Irish came over. The Ulster's first came over to get out from under England's ruling and mainly for religious reasons. I know this info is known by other's but not to me and maybe someone else out there did not realize this. Bottom line my Stewart line were here in the early 1700's. Bev
I'm from James Stewart who was born in Ulster in 1719 and died in Virginia. What show were you watching? I'd like to see if I can find it. Thanks!
