Okay let us try this direction on my Stewart line, starting a little later in time! William Henry Harrison Carpenter the son of Mary Ann Stewart bn 1800 PA, daughter of James Stewart and Mary FEAZEL. William Henry moved from Holmes Co., Ohio with other members of Stewart family, to Wayne Co, IA. Then for some unknown reason they moved North to McDonough Co., Ill. There they had children; otherwise I would not have found them on US census. Hope that helps someone, Bev
