MACINTOSH MACINTOSH, Alexander Ernest - 80, MacKaracher's Nursing Home, Sherbrooke, formerly of Cameron's Settlement, Guysborough County, died Sunday in St. Mary's Memorial Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Goshen, he was a son of the late John and Christena (Stewart) MacIntosh. He lived most of his life in Cameron's Settlement. He was a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. He was a retired woodsman and bus driver. He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth MacPhee, Stewiacke; two sons, Ernest, James, both of Cameron's Settlement; a sister, Barbara Delany, Riverton; six grandchildren; a great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Rose Cameron; a son, in infancy; a sister, Lillian. The body will be in H. W. Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow after 7 p.m. today, where funeral will be held 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Rev. Edgar Dewar officating. MACINTOSH CAMERON SETTLEMENT - Retired schoolteacher Rose Taylor MacIntosh, 78, Maple Manor Senior Citizen's Complex, Sherbrooke, died Wednesday in St. Mary's Hospital, Sherbrooke. Born in Birmingham, England, she was a daughter of the late William A. and Elizabeth Cameron. She had lived in Sherbrooke for the past few months, having lived most of her life in Cameron Settlement. She was a member of the United Church. She taught at numerous schools in both Guysborough and Pictou counties, before retiring. She was a member of the Women's Institute and Caledonia Home and School. She is survived by her husband, Alex; two sons, Ernest and James, both of Cameron Settlement; a daughter, Elizabeth MacPhee, Stewiacke; six grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant son. The body will be in H. W. Angus Funeral Home, Stillwater, Guysborough County, after 7 p.m. today. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.
