    3. Hi Dick, The county was (and still is) Craven, and the land was on or near the Neuse River. Ellis does not mention that he was in any way related to STEWART. The book is new --printed in 2005. It is the local history of Havelock and has some interesting information on early settlers of North Carolina. If anyone is interested I will be happy to post the necessary information for obtaining it.
