Monday, June 8, 1942 The Halifax Chronicle, Halifax, N.S. ROBERT W. STEWART MONTAGUE, P.E.I., June 7 - Funeral services were held from the United church here today for Robert W. Stewart, 72, who died in hospital at Charlottetown on Friday. Mr. Stewart was a prominent fox rancher here and for some years was manager of the Imperial ranch, which from 1915 to 1920, produced some of the best fox pelts in the province. He was a well-known judge of fox pelts and for several years was inspector with the Canadian National Silver Fox Breeders Association. He also judged foxes at the first fox show held in this province in 1929.
