Stewart, born August 14, 1823 somewhere in New York. He died in 1876. Father was a Scot, mother was an Indian, Tribe unknown. First wife died as did a son named William Henry Stewart. John moved to Missouri where he married Hannah Elizabeth Dillman/Hazelett, September 26, 1869 in Putnam county. They had 3 children: Charles Andrew (1870) Ellen Priscilla (1872) & Jordan Euphrates(1874). I am descended through Ellen, my Grandmother.
