    3. Hi Teresa-- This has nothing to do with my line of STEWARTs I'm pretty sure. But I have lived on the Neuse River for 20+ years and thought it might prove helpful for someone on this list. Eastern NC was very wild in the 1700s and very sparsely settled since about the only way one could make a living was by tapping the Long-leaf Pine for naval stores. For any one with roots in this area, the book is a really good read. I wish you could find a male from your Stewart line tho participate on our Stewart project. That name DANIEL was very popular with the Henrico/Chesterfield CO VA line. Hanover Co is so close.
