Hi Mike, Is Evan your line? I see the Evin Stewart on the 1830 Monroe CO census, above a Dikerson or Dickson Stewart. Now, either that census taker made a mistake or those 2 men are "free men of color", notice not one male or female on rhe free wshite men or free white women columns. How do you know the Evan who died in Polk Co lived in Ind? I would think he`d be going back and forth from Franklin CO TN to Jackson CO AL about that time.
