I am not sure the Stephen Stewart who married Elizabeth Bull was the Stephen who was the brother of Silas. There is a long article about Stephen of Kent in "The History of Kent" which I would be happy to send to you. It claims he was the fourth son of the Duke ot Athol. There was another Stephen Stewart living in New Milford at the same time. I wonder of he was Silas' brother.
