Have you searched for the family on the censuses with any luck? One of the wonderful discoveries which occurs more often than you'd think is that a widowed mother lives with her married daughter in her later years. Mary Ann should be on the 1880 census, so I'd suggest you try that one first and work back. Also look for Jacob and Rebecca starting in 1850, presumably in NJ, and if you know of any siblings it's always a good idea to spread the net as widely as you can. Good luck, Mary Mary Kyritsis Kifissia, Greece > Mother despertly wants to know the parentage of her g.g. grandmother, > born 1814 In Mt. Freedom NJ, married Jacob Casner Martin, NJ, 1831 > moved to IN and died LaPorte Co., IN Nov. 2, 1882. Supposedly, her > parents were Jacob Stewart and Rebecca Malick, but can't find > evidence of this. Will certainly appreciate any help and have lots > to share.
