    3. Hi Donald, Are you sure you are not from some VA line? Anyone under 21 was considered a minor, so your Samuel could have been apprenticed out at age 18. Perhaps he was the son of David Stewart. Did you ever find out who he was apprenticed out to, and do learn what? Also CHEATHAM is an old VA name, they were probably in MD also.
