I'm not sure about that - I'm trying to gather enough evidence to prove or disprove this theory. My James was born 1795, either GA or SC depending on the census. Also, his parents were either both foreign-born, or born in the Carolinas, depending on the census. My James married Sarah Tucker. Children: Mary T. born GA 1826, Lucinda b. GA 1826, James L. born 1827 FL (married Lovie Wise, a descendant of "Col. John Wise of England and Virginia" by Jennings Cropper Wise), Sarah b. 1828 FL, and Candice b. 1836 AL. This entire family migrated to north Louisiana around 1850.
