It looks like there might be a good chance we are looking for the same Stewart family. James Stewart was my husbands great grandfathers brother.His name was Joseph Stewart. I have some information on their parents. What I have on James Stewart is that he was born in 1848 in Ohio. He married Elizabeth around 1867. In the 1880 census of Kansas , they had three children. John W. ,10 years old, Anna A. , 7, and Emily , 6 years of age. They are showing Elizabeth's parents being from IN. The name Prince has come up in the community that Joseph Stewart lived in. He had moved to Post Oak , MO after he married his wife Hannah. I was kind of wondering if the Prince family was related but I couldn't connect them. Possibly some of Elizabeth's family.
