I am searching backwards on Joseph Stewart (b.ca.1750 - d: 1823, Brown, Co. Ohio) married to Levinah (Unknown). They arrived in Limestone KY (Mason Co.) 1790 or 1791. I have speculated that this Joseph may have been a brother of Hugh Stewart (9th son of Samuel Stewart of Dauphin Co. PA). I may have located Joseph in Morgan Township, Washington/Greene Co.Pa. (Tenmile Country) as of 1784. I have read in the Byer Papers of the Samuel and Hugh Stewarts of Dauphin Co., that Hugh Stewart emigrated to Lexington, KY. Is anyone familiar with this line?
