(John's parents were James Stewart and Margaret McCowan Stewart). John married Elizabeth Glass March 15, 1808. They had 11 children:John, Jane, Eleanor, James, Margaret, Mary, Anne, Joseph P., Richard, Thomas M, and Sarah. I am especially interested in the line as it comes down from Richard, born, August 14, 1797. He married Mary Stuart on April 12, 1821. (She was born February 12, 1799.) Their child, John B. Stewart was born May 7, 1825 in Pa. He became a minister and married Nancy MacGregor and they had a dauighter nemed Mary. Thanks for your help. This list is wonderful. Sherry Stewart
