This rule is in place not to quash your right to freedom of speech. It is there to ensure that the flow of the list is not interrupted and that others are not subjected to flames and negativity. Grousing about someone's post on list does not improve their query, nor does it add to the genealogical record, nor does it endear you to the majority of the subscribers. Nor does it look pretty in the archives when others find your post in future. If you'd like to discuss this further, write me OFF LIST.
