Both photos were taken in Kirksville (Adair Co.) MO. Photo of Reese and Ora and baby Wesley was taken in about 1891, and baby Wesley looks to be about 6 months old. Photo of “Wesley and Willie”, the two little boys, was taken in about 1892-1893, and Wesley looks to be about age 2, while William is about age 6 months. I found the parents with their boys in the 1900 census for Clay (Adair Co.) MO. Reese’s DOB Mar 1868. Wife Ora was born Apr 1874. Parents and children all born MO. Wesley E. is listed as DOB Feb 1891, while William A. is DOB Jan 1892. In 1920 Wichita (Sedgwick Co.) KS, Wesley E. is age 28 with wife Ruth B., and children. By 1930, Wesley and Ruth were divorced, but both living in Portland (Multnomah Co.) OR. Email me at margerice@prodigy.net if you are related to the Stewart family of Adair Co., MO.

I am researching this line as that of the probable brother of my gggg grandfather William Stewart. This line goes Charles Stewart b. 1777 in Va. or Pa. 3rd son Thomas Jefferson Stewart b. 1809 in Ky. Thomas's son William S. Stewart born 1842 in Illinois his son Reason or Reese born 1868 in Mo. and his sons Wesley E. born in 1891, William A. born in 1892, and a 3rd son Reese born in 1913, all in Mo. Reason had an older brother Addison born in 1864, and two youger brothers, Ellis W. born in 1883 and Moody in 1885.
