Once again I am trying to connect with anyone researching Simpson Stewart b. 1749 in Amherst, NH and d. 1841. I would like documentation on this man who married a woman named Hannah. They had eleven children, some being born in Amherst, NH; Jaffrey, NH and Berlin, VT. Most of them died in Berlin. I have gravestone confirmation of some information. I would like to know where he was married and the surname of his wife. Also would like confirmation of his birth in Amherst. He was the son of John and Keturah Holt Stewart who lived in Andover, MA prior to moving to Amherst sometime after their marriage in 1741. Several authors give conflicting information about Simpson's parents and where they died. No information has been found as to where and when Simpson and Hannah were married, or the parentage of Hannah. Can anyone help me? The Line goes: Robert Stewart b. 1655 + Jannette Forsyth b. 1655 Their children: John b. 1682 + Elizabeth Clark Robert b. 1684 + unknown and had two sons: John b. 1714 + Keturah Holt Samuel b. 1716 + Sarah Tarbell 1718-1809 Robert and his sons lived in Andover, MA after coming to Boston in 1718 with his brother John and family as well as their mother.
