    3. Karen, Am extremely7 interested in following up with you on the relationship of Malissa Stewart Hawkins to John Steewart of Dooly Co., GA. I firmly believe she is the seventh of his apparent thirteen children. We have only identified the last six positively and have nothing on the first six. I believe that I had just confirmed the identity of child eight when we were corresponding. This would be Malissa's sister and she had a daughter Malissa. This family moved to Barbour Co., AL, then Lincoln and Union Parishes, LA along with the three other siblings and their families (James, Saran Ann, and Eli [my grandfather and Walter "Dub" Stewart's gggrandfather]). Incidentally, we now have very near positive proof of our connection to John Stewart, Sr. (about 1740 - 1818), Darlindton, SC. Three of us, each from a separate son (John, Jr., Charles, and Elias) have had DNA tests that match 25/25. Am currently on the road in Orlando, FL. Will be back in touch when I get home. Incidentally, Dub, have been correspondiong with Donna Sutton on her Stewart line. Np conclusions yet, but a numberr of coincidental events mae the exploration very interesting.
