I've never gotten a reply to this guy before. I can't get any further back than this John Stewart. I've been stuck at this point for years. Anyway, here's what I know about him. He was born in 1828 in Scotland. He married Mary McFadden in Glasgow, Scotland. They had 4 kids: Samuel James Stewart; John Stewart; Sarah Stewart and Essie Jane Stewart. My family oral history says that when John married Mary, his parents did not approve and disowned him. (She had been married before and had a son). John and his new family moved to N. Ireland. He had an uncle named (or nicknamed) Whitey Stewart who did stay in touch with him. I have no idea what his parents' names were. Does any of this fit? Please reply. Thank you, Angel Stewart
