    3. April 1972 possibly the New Glasgow newspaper Edison Stewart, Greenwood, Dies Greenwood - Edison Stewart, died at the Aberdeen Hospital on Thursday evening following a lengthy illness. Born 65 years ago at Goldenville, Guysboro County, he was the son of the late John and Carrie (White) Stewart. He was a retired coal miner and woodsman by trade. Besides his wife, the former Annie Doucette, he is survived by four daughters: Irene, Ontario; Lois (Mrs. Ronald MacDonald), Ontario; Francis (Mrs. C. MacKenzie), New Glasgow; Joan (Mrs. Raymond Arnold), Greenwood; three sons: Raymond and Donald, New Glasgow; and Robert, New Glasgow; 29 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Stella (Mrs. Neil Sutherland), New Glasgow; three brothers: Otto and Oswald, Ontario; and Russell, Stellarton. The remains are resting at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home, 55 Almont Ave., New Glasgow, from where the funeral will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. - Saturday, April 29, 1972 The Chronicle-Herald, Halifax, N.S. The body is at the R. H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, where funeral will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Heatherdale Memorial Gardens. The family requests no flowers. Donations may be made to any charitable organizations.
