I believe that either on the 14th or 20th of Feb the History Channel will have a special on the "Lost Colony of Roanoke Island". This will be very interesting, they found families with the same last names in VA, NC etc. and did their DNA tests. Hi Teresa, I did some digging around on the Lost Colony a while back as part of my researching the Bald Jimmy line. If I remember correctly, there are a number of surnames associated with the Caswell/Person County Stewarts that are in common with the possible intermarried descendants of the the Colony.
