Wednesday, June 4, 1969 The Chronicle-Herald, Halifax, N.S. MRS. GEORGE STEWART Mrs. George Stewart, 71, Stellarton, died at the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow, on Monday. She was the daughter of the late Edward James and Jane (Hutson) Hodgson and was a member of Christ Church. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Garfield and Gordon, Stellarton; Raymond, Priestville; Stephen, Telford; a stepson, Maitlyn, Telford; four daughters, Lillian (Mrs. Frank Thistle), Brantford, Ont.; Thelma (Mrs. Curtis Williams), Pugwash Juncton; Elizabeth (Mrs. William Green), Oromocto, N.B.; Mrs. Beryl Nicholson, Stellarton; two brothers, Harry and Roland, Country Harbour; two sisters, Mrs. Rufus Hayne, Country Harbour; Mrs. Stanley MacLaren, California; 38 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
