I'm responding to a recent post by BasketLady420@aol.com on a David STEWART referenced in the book "Scots Banished to the American Plantations." I tried to email her privately but the email bounced. Anyway, her post caught my eye since I have an ancester named Alexander STEWART who was born around 1700 and came to America around 1715. I've wondered if his coming might have been related to the "15" Scottish rebellion (1715).
