I am looking for date & burial place of my great grandpaarents James F & Dicy/Dicey married in Rhea Co TN in 1831. They were on the Independence Co AR in 1860 & 1870 Census. The name was spelled STUART on the 1870 Census. James was not on the 1880 Census but Dicey was 71 years old and living with her son Felix Grundy and his family living in Healing Springs, Independence Co AR. I would also like to find Felix Grundy Stewart as the last I have found on him was the 1880 Census I have a copy of a letter dated October 20. 1862, James wrote to one of his sons, David but evidently called "Dick" by family during the Civil War stating he was selling some things (pony $60.00 and saddle for $7.50) & moving out on the mountain as I have rented my place to your Uncle Sam and that David's wife was Mary Cash Stewart was staying with her dad, John C. Cash, until Dick came home. We believe the mountain was in Stone Co AR as Stone Co AR was cut from Independence Co in 1873. Although, James kept referring to his son as Dick, at the end of the letter he ends "from James Stewart to David Stewart" --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
