John Stewart b: 1743 in Procoles, Atrim County, Ireland, m: Katherine Junck. He would be my 5th Great Grandfather. Their son Thomas W. Stewart b: 1788 in Ireland( my 4th great grandfather; m: Betsy Kennedy. Their son Kennedy Creighton Stewart 3rd great grandfather b: 21 August 1821 in Ireland, d: 8 March 1907 in Addison, Steuben County; m: Margaret Bolles. Their son William L. Stewart 2nd great grandfather b: March 1849 in Steuben County; m: Pheobe Lamphier/phear Their son Earl J. Stewart great grandfather b:1872; m: Josephine White Their son Charles Elmer Stewart my grandpa b: 15 July 1895; m: Clara Wheeler Their son Karlyle Charles Stewart is my dad. These families had other children, but I only gave you the names of my direct ancestors. Maybe this will be helpful in your research. I did look at the Stewart Clan Magazine, but only found reference to Katherine Junck, my 5th great grandmother. However, I haven't fully and throughly gone through it. I am very familiar with the SouthernTier area of New York, as m one of my dad's brothers remained in the area, and raised his family there. His name was Clayton.
