His death is about 1829. Absolum married Susanna(h) Smith (ABT 1770) on 20 JUL 1793 and had 5 children: Robert (1794), Andrew (1795), William (1796), Elizabeth (1797), and Charles (1798). Absolum married Tabitha Clay (ABT 1778) on 26 May 1798 and had 2 children: Nancy (1799), Rebecca (1800), Eleanor (1801), Elizabeth (1802), Emily (1803), James (30 SEP 1804), Melinda (1805), Mary (1807), Johnson (1808), Harvey (1813), Cynthia (1814), Mitchell (1818), Hiram T Stewart (ABT 1821/1823 - AFT 1896). Was James married to an Edith Skidmore about 1820 in Kentucky? And was his death 10 AUG 1855 in Ohio? If so, this is the correct James listed above for Absolum and Tabitha Clay. I hope this helps get you on the right track. While I did not find birth records for this information, so my information is not verified 100%, they were located in several others family trees. It will hopefully get you pointed in the correct direction to begin looking at census records, birth certificates, and death certificates, etc. to verify and get more exact dates. Additionally William Ralph's parents were James and Ann Lafferty but I have no information found on them.
