Just a caution to the Quaker Records... Please always try to back up any information that you find there with a legal document.. Our direct Pike like was listed in the Cane Creek, Orange County Quaker Meeting Records as a father being born in 1700 and his son being born in 1702... It just didn't happen.... My daughter found a baptismal record from England that proved that "father" was really the son's Uncle... We did find his correct father, but there are still other researchers who refuse to believe the proof just because it's in the Quaker Records... and they still use the 1700 and 1702 dates... and I guess they still use the Uncle as the Father... :(
