I know next to nothing about my STEWART line. What I do know is that Charlotte STEWART (born about 1816 in North Carolina) was married to Jacob HARRIS (born about 1814 in North Carolina). They were from North Carolina, but by 1849, they were living in Indiana. By all indications, Charlotte was from a Free Person of Color family (not sure if someone had been manumitted early on....not sure about any indenture or anything)--as was the HARRIS line. All I know about Charlotte is what I've shared (aside from the names of some of her children). I would love to learn more about her and my STEWART family. LaKesha
