Hi Ron Barnett: In reply to your Stewart Lines. I might be able to help on "Bald Jimmy" I have a James Stewart born a guess between 1718-1823 in Bright County Down, Ireland, or Scotland. James can to American some time after 1748 as his son William was born in Bright County. The family from William who had 11 children, is well documented. If you are interested I can send you my Study on my line. Please use [ seamore2@cox.net ] to reply. The maternal line goes back to "Bald Jimmy" Stewart, born 1718 (Ireland?) and died 1783 in Caswell North Carolina. The paternal side goes back at least to John Stuart/Stewart (both spellings can be found in the records), born 18 Jan 1757 in Amelia Co Virginia and died about 1840 in Davidson North Carolina. -- Ron Barnett Life is about art.
