My paternal gggggrandfather, James Vincent Stewart, was born in Scotland on Dec 27, 1766, and was married to Catherine Sarah Shaffer, born in Westerlitz, Germany on Oct. 8, 1780 and married on April 28, 1800 in Allegheny Co. PA., and they had a lot of children including my ggggrandmother, Margaret Elsa Stewart born May 9, 1817 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co. PA. This is as far back that is known to us on our Stewart line.I do have names of the other children if anyone thinks they connect up with us.
